Tourism consultancy, Nairobi

We do not sell safaris. We help you design journeys that leave the land better than they found it.

Ndara works with tour operators, agencies, camps and conservancies in Kenya and across East Africa. We look at how your trips are put together, how your website reads, where your guest money lands, and what your itineraries cost the ecosystem. Then we rebuild the weak parts with you.

Based in Karen, Nairobi. Work across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Zambia.

What we work on

Four places where a trip either helps or hurts

Itinerary design

Most safaris fail on the map, not on the day. We rework routing, pacing and park choices so vehicles spread out, guests sleep less in transit, and the money reaches the areas that carry the wildlife.

Website, structure and flow

We rewrite the site architecture so a traveller can find a trip in three clicks, and so search engines and AI assistants can read what you actually offer. Clear pages, honest pricing, no dead ends.

Sustainability that holds up

Water, waste, energy, food buying, staff pay and local supply. We measure what you already do, drop what is only decoration, and give you numbers you can defend to a guest or an auditor.

Conservation, community, culture

Lease payments, ranger costs, bed night fees and cultural visits done with consent. We connect operators to conservancies and set terms both sides can live with for years.

Since 2019

Work we can point to

68 Itineraries redrawn for operators in Kenya and Tanzania.
11 Conservancies advised on lease terms, bed night fees and guest caps.
31% Average drop in single use plastic across five camps in the first year.
2.4x Enquiries from search after a site rebuild for a Nairobi based operator.
How we work

Four steps, no long reports nobody reads

We spend time on the ground, with your guides, your kitchen and your booking inbox. What you get back is short, specific and costed.

1

Listen and look

Two weeks. We ride the routes, read the reviews, open your books with you.

2

Name the problems

A one page picture of what is leaking money and what is pressuring the land.

3

Rebuild with your team

Itineraries, site pages, supplier terms and staff training, done together so it sticks.

4

Check back at six months

We return, measure the same things again, and tell you plainly what moved.

A guest can only love a place they understand. Our job is to make sure the trip explains itself and pays its way.

Journal

Notes from the road

Lioness resting with a game drive vehicle in the distance
Guiding

Five vehicles at one sighting is a design failure

Radio etiquette will not fix crowding. Departure times and route spacing will.

Community

What a fair village visit looks like on paper

Who agreed, who is paid, who says no, and what happens to the fee after the bus leaves.

Operations

Your kitchen is your biggest sustainability lever

Menus, buying lists and fridge temperatures move more carbon than your solar panels.
